Blondie was commissioned by my aunt as a Christmas gift for her sister in law in Carmel, IN. Blondie, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, was one of four dogs that belonged to the recipient's family. The others were Dagwood (Blondie's brother), Mickie, and Gunnar (Mickie's brother). At the time it was commissioned, all of the dogs had passed away which made it a little difficult to find good pictures. All four pet portraits were painted to hang together but they also look great hung separately.
