Gus, an English Bulldog, was so much fun to paint. This was a personal birthday gift I gave to a good friend of mine here in Charlotte, NC. Gus has a very laid back personality which makes it easier to get good photographs of him. The better the dog photography, the better the pet portrait. If don't have great pictures of your dog and you live in the area, it is sometimes easier for me to get some pictures that I know will work.

Tanner

Tanner is a full bred brown Labrador Retriever. The owner, from Charlotte, NC, wanted more masculine colors to go with his bachelor pad.

Angelic Collie

This pet portrait was commissioned as a gift for the son of the patron's soccer coach in Indianapolis, IN. It was one of the more challenging pieces because the dog had recently passed away and the owner could only find one picture of the dog in black and white.
