The 3 Girls: Pheobe, Hatti, and Crissi

Custom 14in x 14in

From top to bottom we have the three beautiful Yorkshire Terriers Phoebe, Hatti and Crissi. I painted the three girls to hang together, so it was really important that they were cohesive. Originally, i had trouble capturing Crissi and luckily the patron had no trouble communicating that. It is very important that the pet portraits capture the pet perfectly, otherwise, what's the point? So I ended up repainting Crissi and the patron could have not been happier.

Bunni

Custom 19in x 24in

Bunni is a miniature schnauzer who belongs to the same owner I met at the 2010 Bark in the Park here in Charlotte, NC. This pet portrait was one of five that she had commissioned through me. After seeing the owners fabulous apartment and meeting her gorgeous dogs, I got a feeling of their personalities and her style. Through these meetings, I got to really customize her dog portraits in the particular way that she had wanted them.

Cami

Custom 17in x 26in

I met Cami's owner at the 2010 Bark in the Park here in Charlotte,NC. Cami's owner is one of the founders of the Yorkshire Terrier Rescue Foundation of North Carolina. She is a foster parent for the organization as well as the owner of three yorkies and a miniature schnauzer. Cami was a rescue that never recovered from her illnesses. Being her favorite, the patron had me paint a larger scale portrait of her very missed baby girl.

Eli

16in x 20in

Eli is a Labrador Pitt Bull mix. His owner is a good friend of mine and she decided to get a pet portrait done of Eli for her husband's birthday. Originally from Maine, Eli just moved here to Charlotte and we are all very excited to have him:) One important detail is the linoleum print in the back. While he lived in Maine his owners also had six chickens that Eli was very fond of. If you take a close look, you can see the chickens in the background. They also grace the sides.
